Carsulae was an historical city in the pre Doman era along the future via Flaminia, in Umbria at the border between the territory of the communities of Interamna Nahars (Terni) and Casventum (San Gemini). Abandoned by its people already ages ago due to erosion of the earth, and the city was, and still is, partly buried underneath meters of soil. At current times it is possible to view the archaeological site of the zone of the forum with the remains of a basilica and two types of twin temples, a theatre and an amphitheatre and an arc named San Damiano, all in a considerably good condition. Furthemore, next to the forum is situated the chiurch of San Damiano, built in the Middle-age era with materials from the caruslane ruins.
